Wash Your Hands Too

June 29, 2009

Just be patient, whether you’re a Driver or Non Driver.

Attention Car Drivers

It was brought to my attention that there are new Speed Cameras (Almost Hidden). You can see them but they are without signs. I’ve heard many complaints from my mailing list about them being fined by the Traffic Police in Singapore so I thought this email would come handy as I don’t want your Chinese New Year to be ruined as well as the fact that there will be lesser cars in those regions so it’s more dangerous.

The speed limit is 60KM/H so it’s really easy to get fined there. Just be really careful and spread the word.

Gift For Non Drivers

I know what you’re thinking. I’m not able to afford a car. Don’t despair. For my foreign friends in the mailing list, it’s not easy to afford a car and it easily costs 25K a year just to maintain a car.

During my conversations at times with my students, some of them tell me that they do not have a valid car license nor have they taken any theory tests. Their thinking is simple, wait till they can afford it. Well, to get a license in Singapore takes probably 7 to 24 months, depending on your skills and funds.

My advice to them. Go for it. Create the desire. It’s the most important thing. If you want to buy an expensive branded bag but can’t afford it, no problem. Just go to the boutique and try it, feel it. You need to create the desire.

I guess by now you would have seen the Secret. You need to learn the art of Visualization. In addition to that, you need to learn “The Law of Attraction”.

I’ve implemented all those and I’m a living testimonial.

Chilling out: GlobalSounds

October 10, 2007

Global Sounds is the 1st and only cafe in South-East Asia with global music instruments as the theme. It’s not a bad theme for a cafe, since there isn’t any in Singapore with such a theme.

It’s at the corner of Smith Street and it’s pretty easy to find. The interior was quite well furnished and gave a homely warm cosy feeling.

Tiramisu lover will dig this chic bistro’s specialty. web_drink_vienne.jpgSink your teeth into layers of sweet zabaglione cushioning espresso-infused savoyardi biscuits and enjoy softly-flavoured Mascaporne. Sprinkled with coca dust, this tiramisu is divine! Also try the Peach Cobbler – a warm pudding with luscious peaches baked in butterty pastry.
